Kinon Mars Mission – A Journey of Discovery for Young Explorers
Among the innovative educational attractions designed by Atlas Adventure Parks, the Kinon Mars Mission stands out as a groundbreaking concept that combines learning, imagination, and adventure. Conceived as a didactic children’s attraction, this project aims to educate and inspire young visitors by immersing them in the fascinating mysteries of the solar system and the ambitious dream of human colonization of Mars.
An Educational Adventure Beyond Earth
Kinon Mars Mission is designed to make science education entertaining and interactive, offering children a unique opportunity to explore space through play. The attraction introduces key concepts about astronomy, planetary exploration, and space technology, transforming abstract scientific knowledge into a tangible and thrilling experience.
With a capacity of 36 children per session, the attraction promotes group learning, teamwork, and curiosity, encouraging participants to discover, ask questions, and imagine the future of life beyond Earth.
Dimensions and Structure
Covering a total of 387 square meters, the attraction measures 9 meters in width, 43 meters in length, and 6 meters in height. This carefully planned structure allows for the integration of multiple educational and adventure zones within a compact and immersive environment.
The entire space is divided into four interconnected thematic zones, each representing a key stage in humanity’s journey to Mars. These zones are connected by an adventure circuit that challenges children to think, move, and collaborate as they progress through the mission.
Thematic Zones: Learning Through Play
Each of the four spaces within Kinon Mars Mission offers a distinct educational experience:
-
Space Training Center – Here, children prepare for their mission, learning about astronauts, spacecraft, and the physical challenges of space travel through interactive exhibits and motion-based games.
-
Solar System Discovery Zone – This section presents a didactic exploration of the planets, moons, and celestial phenomena that make up our solar system, with digital projections, tactile displays, and immersive visuals.
-
Mars Landing and Exploration Zone – Participants experience the thrill of a simulated Mars landing and take part in role-play activities involving navigation, resource collection, and scientific exploration on the Martian surface.
-
Mars Colony Lab – The final stage focuses on the concept of living on Mars, introducing sustainability, habitat design, and teamwork as essential elements of future human colonization.
A Fusion of Science, Creativity, and Fun
Kinon Mars Mission perfectly blends education, storytelling, and entertainment. Every element—lighting, sound design, and visual effects—has been developed to engage children’s senses and imagination while delivering meaningful educational content. The attraction serves as both a playground and a classroom, fostering curiosity and creativity in a dynamic, futuristic setting.
Designed for the Next Generation
Developed by Atlas Adventure Parks, Kinon Mars Mission embodies the company’s commitment to creating attractions that go beyond simple amusement. It represents a new era of edutainment, where science and fun coexist to shape young minds and inspire future explorers.
By offering children a realistic and exciting introduction to space exploration, the attraction aims to nurture an early appreciation for STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), while also promoting imagination and teamwork—skills essential for the innovators of tomorrow.
A Mission That Inspires
More than just an attraction, Kinon Mars Mission is a journey of discovery, a platform where children can experience the excitement of science and the wonder of space exploration in an engaging, hands-on way. It is an educational cornerstone within the Atlas Adventure Parks universe, combining learning, entertainment, and inspiration under one cosmic theme.
